We are working with a leading public sector organisation to find a Digital Business Analyst | BPSS, via the PSR framework.

This role is on the Credits and Adjustments (C&A) team. C&A’s mission is to create the engine room to enable the organisation to provide a single view of a Citizen’s financial position. It has the potential to modernise a large part of how payments are calculated, providing benefits to citizens and the business.

C&A is currently only a concept with a set of potential capabilities, which the team are conducting analysis on to understand current processes, future needs, and proposed value.

The role will be on a strategy team, working closely with product managers, product strategists, solution architects, and other business analysts.

As a business analyst, you will be responsible for conducting analysis activity with stakeholders across the organisation, facilitating workshops and gathering evidence before presenting findings back to senior stakeholders. You will deploy a range of tools and investigation techniques to learn more about existing processes and produce high-level options and principles for a future solution.

Role Detail:

• Role: Digital Business Analyst
• Contract Length: 12 Months
• Location: Manchester or Newcastle Hub preference – Will be 3 days per week in office
• IR35: Inside IR35
• Pay Rate to Candidate: £600 Max
• Security Clearance: BPSS

Day - Day working tasks

• Working within a transformational multi-disciplinary team utilising agile methodologies.
• Translate business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements to deliver value and great outcomes for our users.
• Lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and utilise other techniques to effectively understand the business problems and user needs.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, communicating effectively across both technical and business stakeholders and ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned.
• Gain a good understanding of the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service. Selecting the appropriate best practice techniques to model business processes, in order to identify potential process improvements.

Essential

• Experience of working as a Business Analyst within digital/ technology.
• Experienced in analysing and refining user and stakeholder requirements
• Experienced in identifying and building strong relationships with stakeholders
• Experienced in using a wide range of analysis techniques to understand the problem.
• Able to identify improvements and make recommendations
• Experience of working on changes end to end from inception to delivery.
• Experience of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and actively contributing to strategic discussions at senior level.
