Privacy statement
This statement explains how BeInspired handles personal information collected through this website. It is maintained by BeInspired and is written to describe our current practices in plain language.
Last updated 2026.
Who we are
BeInspired is a technology, transformation and growth partner. We work with client organisations and with Team Inspire, our community of experienced leaders and specialist consultants. For any privacy question, contact us through our Let’s Talk page.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need. Through this website that is limited to:
- Details you choose to give us in an enquiry form, such as your name, email address, organisation and the message you send.
- Basic technical information created when you browse, such as pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address.
We do not ask for special category data through this site, and please do not send sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to respond to you and to progress a conversation about work, a role or a partnership. We use technical and analytics information, where you have allowed it, to understand how the site is used and improve it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Our lawful basis
Where you contact us, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps to enter into an engagement.
For Team Inspire applications, we rely on our legitimate interest in assessing suitability for engagement and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where we carry out screening checks before an assignment, we do so to meet our legal and contractual obligations to clients.
Team Inspire screening information
When you apply to join Team Inspire, we ask you to declare your security and compliance readiness. This includes your Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) status, your right to work in the UK, your willingness to complete BPSS checks, any security clearance you hold or have held, your willingness to undergo additional vetting, and, if you choose to tell us, whether you have been resident in the UK for the past five years.
We use this information to understand your readiness for client assignments and to plan the screening each assignment requires. BPSS is the minimum screening standard for every BeInspired assignment: no consultant begins an assignment until BPSS has been completed, verified and accepted. Higher clearances, such as SC, DV or CTC, are required only where a specific assignment and its sponsor specify them.
The answers you give on the form are self-declared and are treated as “verification pending” until checked. Before any assignment we verify them through a professional screening provider, and we share only the information needed for that purpose. Where a client assignment requires it, we also confirm the outcome of screening to that client. We do not ask you to send identity documents, passports or clearance certificates through the website.
We keep your application and screening declarations while your Team Inspire membership is active and for up to six years afterwards, so we can respond to queries about past engagements and meet our contractual and legal obligations. Records of completed screening checks are kept for the period the relevant client contract or screening standard requires, then securely deleted.
Sharing and service providers
We use trusted service providers to run this website and our business systems, including website hosting and email. They process information on our instructions only. We may also share information where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain a record of our business relationship, then remove it.
Security
Access to information is limited to the people who need it, systems are protected by access controls and traffic to this website is encrypted in transit. No online service can promise absolute security, so we keep our controls under review.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within one month.
If you are in the UK and are unhappy with our response, you can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this statement
