The opportunity

We are developing process-intelligence capability that can help customers turn operational data into clear decisions, prioritised improvement and measurable value.

This role sits between process analysis, value engineering, data visualisation and transformation delivery. It is not a dashboard-production role in isolation. The purpose is to understand the customer outcome, define the questions that matter, translate complex process evidence into accessible insight and help stakeholders act on it.

You may lead the value and insight workstream within a process-intelligence engagement, support an engagement manager and technical data specialist, or work as part of a wider multidisciplinary transformation team.

What you will do

• Work with business, operational and technology stakeholders to understand the process problem, desired outcomes and decisions the analysis must support. • Define value hypotheses, key performance indicators, baselines and measures of realised benefit. • Translate process-mining outputs, operational data and root-cause analysis into clear dashboards, value cases and improvement priorities. • Design usable executive and operational views that help different audiences understand performance, variation, risk, opportunity and recommended action. • Facilitate value-discovery, requirements and insight workshops with senior stakeholders and operational teams. • Test analytical findings against operational reality, distinguishing symptoms and attractive metrics from interventions that will improve the wider business outcome. • Quantify the potential and realised value of process improvement, automation, workflow or operating-model change. • Build a clear narrative from evidence, explaining what is happening, why it matters and what should happen next. • Work closely with process consultants, data specialists, platform teams and change practitioners so insight progresses into implementation. • Maintain traceability from business objective and source data through analysis, recommendation, action and benefit. • Help establish repeatable dashboard, value-tracking and benefits-realisation practices that can scale beyond one engagement.

Essential experience

• Senior consultant-level experience in process intelligence, process mining, value engineering, performance analytics, business process improvement or closely related transformation work. • Evidence of personally translating complex process or operational data into dashboards, value cases or decision support used by business stakeholders. • Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-engagement capability, including the ability to identify the decisions and outcomes that analysis must enable. • Practical experience designing and delivering business-facing dashboards or analytical products using Power BI, Celonis, SAP Signavio, Tableau, Qlik or comparable platforms. • Ability to define meaningful KPIs, baselines, value hypotheses, benefit measures and improvement priorities. • Evidence that analytical insight led to a decision, funded initiative, implemented improvement or measurable operational outcome rather than stopping at a presentation or dashboard. • Strong written, visual and verbal communication, with the judgement to make complex evidence accessible without oversimplifying it. • Experience working across business, operations, data and technology teams in a complex enterprise environment. • Evidence of working through a structured delivery framework or disciplined lifecycle, such as a process-mining value or execution method, benefits-realisation framework, Lean Six Sigma or DMAIC, Agile delivery, transformation stage gates, BPM governance or a credible hybrid approach. This is an essential requirement.

Consulting mindset and delivery

You should be comfortable entering an ambiguous situation, listening deeply and helping stakeholders define what value means before designing the measurement approach. We value people who can build trust, challenge constructively and distinguish a visually impressive dashboard from evidence that genuinely supports better decisions.

You will need to balance analytical rigour with commercial and operational judgement. The strongest consultants can connect strategic outcomes, frontline reality and technical evidence, then help a multidisciplinary team carry the work from discovery into action. Proposal contribution, value storytelling and capability development are useful, but they do not replace evidence of delivery.

Useful additional experience

• Celonis Value Engineering, Process Sphere, Studio or Execution Management capability. • SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, ARIS Process Mining or comparable process-intelligence tooling. • Power BI data modelling, DAX, Tableau, Qlik or advanced visualisation capability. • Benefits management, business-case development, finance partnering or portfolio value tracking. • Process architecture, BPMN, operating-model design or Lean Six Sigma. • Automation, workflow, task mining, advanced analytics or AI-enabled process improvement. • Supply chain, procurement, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, finance, shared services, customer operations, manufacturing or logistics. • Public-sector, regulated, systems-integrator or large-enterprise transformation experience. • Experience working with security-cleared teams or within controlled delivery environments.

Some assignments may require BPSS, Security Check clearance or other client screening. Existing clearance is useful where current and verifiable, but it is not a universal requirement.

Where clearance is required, the exact residency, nationality and screening criteria will be confirmed for that assignment. Eligibility is not treated as confirmed until the relevant checks are complete.
