The opportunity

We are building a community of experienced consultants who can help customers move from fragmented manual activity and isolated automations into reliable, governed and scalable operational workflows. The work combines process understanding, solution design, platform delivery, enterprise integration and organisational change. The objective is not simply to deploy a bot or platform feature, but to improve how work flows, how decisions and exceptions are managed, and how value is sustained.

You may operate as an individual specialist, lead an automation workstream or contribute within a multidisciplinary delivery team.

What you will do • Diagnose operational problems and identify where automation, workflow redesign, intelligent document processing or orchestration can create measurable value. • Facilitate discovery with operational, business and technical stakeholders, mapping the current state and defining an achievable future state. • Shape and deliver solutions through process assessment, architecture, solution design, configuration or build, integration, testing, deployment and production support. • Design business rules, human approvals, exception paths, controls, service management, monitoring and continuous improvement. • Integrate automation with APIs, enterprise applications, data sources, document services, AI services and operational platforms. • Apply delivery governance, release controls and quality assurance appropriate to enterprise and regulated environments. • Explain options, risks, dependencies and delivery implications clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Establish measures showing how the intervention improved time, cost, quality, risk, capacity or customer outcomes. • Contribute reusable standards, architecture patterns, Centre of Excellence methods and delivery assurance.

Essential evidence • At least five years of relevant automation, workflow, low-code, software, process-transformation or consulting delivery. • A specific automation or workflow solution that you personally helped take into production or sustained operational use. • Strong practical delivery experience with at least one recognised platform or product family: UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform or Power Automate, ServiceNow, Appian, Pega, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, NICE, Camunda, Mendix, K2/Nintex or a credible equivalent. • Evidence across several lifecycle stages such as discovery, process assessment, architecture, design, build or configuration, integration, testing, deployment and production support. • Evidence of API or enterprise-system integration, exception handling, human approvals, controls and maintainability. • Evidence connecting the implementation to a measurable or clearly evidenced operational outcome. • Evidence of a structured delivery lifecycle such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, SDLC, an RPA or automation delivery method, CoE governance, DevOps, test and release gates, benefits-realisation governance or a credible hybrid approach. • The ability to distinguish your personal contribution from platform keywords, certifications and wider team achievements.

Consulting mindset and delivery

You should be able to enter an unfamiliar environment, understand how work actually happens and bring order to complex requirements. You should communicate a coherent delivery story, build trust across business and technology teams, challenge constructively and take ownership while working collaboratively. These behaviours inform the assessment but do not substitute for implementation evidence.

Useful additional experience • Intelligent document processing using tools such as Hyperscience, ABBYY or Kofax. • Conversational AI, NLP, ML-enabled automation, ServiceNow Now Assist or AI Control Tower, enterprise search, knowledge orchestration or agentic workflows. • Process mining, BPMN, DMN, operational analytics or value discovery. • Python, SQL, SAP, Dynamics 365 or cloud integration. • Public-sector, regulated, systems-integrator or large-enterprise delivery. • Proposal development, capability building, CoE design, commercial shaping or coaching delivery teams.

How evidence will be assessed

A platform name, certification, training role, advisory recommendation or historic RPA exposure alone is insufficient. Strong evidence identifies the business process, platform, personal delivery contribution, lifecycle stages, integration and control considerations, production use and operational result.
