Role purpose

Support a leading public-sector body to understand user needs and business objectives, shape end-to-end services and translate evidence into prioritised design recommendations and detailed requirements.

Engagement

• 12-month contract.
• Rate: £ 740/day - Umbrella Pay Rate
• Remote, with occasional travel potentially required; destination and frequency TBC.
• Inside IR35.
• Active SC clearance mandatory, subject to authorised validation; eligibility alone is insufficient.
• Teams interview.

Essential capability

• Practitioner-level knowledge and experience in design communication, designing for everyone, strategic design, designing together, evidence-based design and iterative design.
• Demonstrable working-level knowledge and experience in leading design.

Deliverables

• Facilitate workshops with broad stakeholders to identify priority deliverables and risks/opportunities.
• Support product managers with scoping, road-mapping and prioritisation.
• Document workshop outcomes and recommendations.
• Analyse user needs and business objectives.
• Develop concepts and prototypes to reimagine user experience.
• Use user-centred methods, including journey mapping, to show recommendations and end-to-end consequences.
• Create detailed final design requirements.
